Kołobrzeska Żegluga Pasażerska is pleased to invite you to a one-day, overseas cruise aboard the "JANTAR" through the Baltic Sea, connected with a stay on the picturesque Bornholm island (Denmark). The ship offers a restaurant, discotheque and café that can be transformed into a conference room. Moreover, guests have at their disposable spacious sun decks. The elegant interiors ensure a sense of comfort throughout the duration of the cruise, and the cuisine served will surely satisfy even the most demanding of palates.

 

 

Itinerary:

 

06.00 – start of embarkation in the International Terminal in Kołobrzeg. Customs, embarkation on board M/S „Jantar”;

07.00 – departure from Kołobrzeg to Nexo;

07.00 – 11.30 – cruising; breakfast (not included in the ticket price); screening of movies;

11.30 – arrival to Nexo (target port on Bornholm); meeting with the guide.

 

 

Trips to choose from:

 

OPTION I

4-hour touring with a Polish guide. The trip starts at the port at 12.00.

Riding along the east, rocky coast, through Arsdale, Svaneke, Listed. Stop in Gudhjem - 55 minutes. Gudhjem is a charming town, situated against the side of Bokul hill, full of winding streets, shops and artists' workshops. The excellent golden herring is a delicacy served in the old smokehouse located in the port. Riding through Tejn, Alinge, Sandvig and a 55-minute stop in Hammershus, where one can visit the largest ruins of a medieval castle in all of Scandinavia. Riding to Nyker and 15-minute stop. This town also houses one of the four round churches on Bornholm. The Templar churches shrouded with legend excite the imagination and captivate visitors with their unique architecture.

Further ride through the Almindingen forest complex, Aakirkeby - the former capital of the island boasting a 12th century church. Return to Nexo at 16.00.

OPTION II

This is a 5-hour trip, same as in option 1, but with the addition of a visit in the NATURBORNHOLM education and exposition centre.

NATURBORNHOLM is the key to understanding and discovering the island. This was the greatest investment on the island since the construction of the Hammershus castle and one of the primary attractions of the island. From 2005 it also boasts a 4-star tourism quality mark. This impressive multimedia exposition centre, offers active access to knowledge and is a place where anyone can find something to his/her liking. Travelling in a time machine, eye-to-eye meeting with a local dinosaur, 90 thousand litre fish tank with fish from the Baltic Sea and many other attractions all make tourist want to revisit this place, discovering new secrets every time. The trip concludes in Nexo at 17.00.

16.00 – 17.30 – end of trip, free time in Nexo;

Nexo is the second largest town in Bornholm. The Nexo Museum is located just by the port boulevard. It houses an exhibition dedicated to the history of the city, fishing and sea navigation and rescue. Other worthwhile attractions include The Memory Well, Town Hall, Childhood home of Martina Andersen and his sculpted head in front of the Memory Room, Sailors' House, which was once used as a school, Church, Church School and Tropical Garden, also called the "Butterfly Park".

17.30 – 18.00 – embarkation of passengers;

18.00 – departure from Nexo to Kołobrzeg;

18.00 – 22.30 – during the cruise:

dinner (not included in the price); discotheque;

22.30 – arrival to Kołobrzeg.
